1. Shipping Information

At Rikimed Ltd, we strive to ensure your orders are processed and shipped efficiently. Here are the key details about our shipping policies:

Shipping Method and Costs

  • Flat-rate Shipping: We offer a flat-rate shipping fee of $10 NZD for nationwide delivery within New Zealand.

  • No Pick-ups: We do not offer in-person pick-up for orders. All orders are delivered directly to your specified shipping address.

Processing Times

  • Orders are processed during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM NZST).

  • Orders placed after 3 PM may not be processed until the next business day.

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (if applicable).

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Urban Areas: 2–5 business days

  • Rural Areas: 5–10 business days

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors such as courier availability or product stock.

Shipping Delays

  • While we make every effort to ensure prompt delivery, external factors like weather or supply chain disruptions may occasionally cause delays.

  • If there is a significant delay with your order, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Delivery Address

  • Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect or incomplete address information.


2. Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not, we’ve made our Return & Refund Policy simple and transparent.

Eligibility for Returns

You may return items within 15 business days of receiving your order if:

  • The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • The item is in original, unopened packaging and in resalable condition.

Items that cannot be returned:

  • Sterile or disposable medical supplies (e.g., syringes, gloves, dressings).

  • Custom-made or special-order products.

  • Opened or used items, or items with broken seals.

How to Request a Return

  1. Contact us at returns@rikimed.co.nz within 15 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide your order number, the items you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

  3. If approved, we will issue a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) and provide instructions for returning the product.

Returns submitted without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Restocking Fees

  • Approved returns not due to Rikimed’s error may incur a restocking fee of up to 50% of the product’s value.

Refunds and Credits

  • Once we receive your return, we will process a refund, credit, or exchange within 5–10 business days.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

  • If your order is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods.

  • We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional charge.


3. Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item:

  • Follow the return process above to return the unwanted item.

  • Once your return is processed, you can place a new order for the replacement item.


4. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch by contacting us at info@rikimed.co.nz.

  • Custom or special orders cannot be cancelled once processed.
